Historical slave doll found in a thrift shop. Caucasian doll flips over to become an African American doll. I read that these were for the children of slaves, who wanted a doll that looked like them, but could quickly be flipped to become a white doll when the Master was around.
Any ideas what this is? Seems like a mask for a toy ( flexible, rubbery plastic), possibly a happy meal.
